How to reset the printer settings by directly operating the printer
Printer initialisation clears the printer's DRAM and restores its factory settings.

Turn off the printer.

Press and hold the Feed/Pause button, and then turn on the printer.

Release the button after the LED flashes in amber five times and lights in green/red (blinks 5 times alternately).
The LED colour will change as follows:
Amber (lit) > Red/Amber (blinks 5 times alternately) > Amber (5 times) > Green/Red (blinks 5 times alternately) (Release the button here) > Green (5 times) > Red (5 times) > Green (lit)
After the initialisation, the following factory settings will be restored:

You can also activate printer initialisation from the LCD.

In the LCD, select the Menu icon .

In the Main menu, select Advanced.

Select Initialization.
