The print quality is poor./ Printed tape contains white streaks./ Printed text is blurry.

Check the following.

 

  1. Is the print head dirty?
    Clean the print head.
    For details, see “Print head maintenance” in “What maintenance should be performed?”. 
                    
  2. Is there dust or dirt on the ink ribbon guide rollers, preventing them from turning freely?
    Clean the ink ribbon guide rollers. For details, see “Ink ribbon guide roller maintenance” in “What maintenance should be performed?”.
