Is it the first time the labeller has been connected to your PC?
When you connect the labeller to your PC for the first time, you may encounter a time out by the Windows Shell Hardware Detection service, for example if a process of driver load is delayed finding the labeller or it takes a long time to assign the drive letter.
<The solution>
Turn off the labeller and disconnect the USB cable from your PC, then reconnect and turn on the labeller again. You only need to do this process once, and the pop-up dialogue box will then appear every time the labeller is connected. -
Even though your PC is supported by Windows XP or later, the pop-up dialogue box may not appear depending on the PC environment.
