How do I change the style of the character in the middle of the line?

Example:

  1. Type "ABC", then press key and key. New block mark Markappears.
  2. Presskey , then press key
  3. Press keyorkeyuntil OUTLINE is displayed.
  4. Press  key. The selected style is applied only to the current block.
  5. Type "DEF".
