What does error message "CHR SIZE AUTO?" on the display mean?
This message appears because the Size of characters you have selected cannot fit onto the tape installed inside the machine. You have the following options.
1. Press , the machine will automatically select the maximum
character size that will fit onto the tape and print out the label.
2. Press to clear the message and install a wider tape before printing again.
3. Press to clear the message and then change to a smaller
character size before printing again.
If you have the correct size tape installed and are still getting the message, try removing the cassette from the machine and reinstalling back into the unit. Make sure the cassette tape is seated firmly in the compartment.
