PP1-Artspira troubleshooting

This FAQ summarizes troubleshooting for the Brother embroidery machine PP1.
We provide information that you can help yourself.

 

 

#1001 The bobbin thread is almost empty.

Situation

This message appears mainly when the bobbin has run out of thread. Please replace the bobbin with a bobbin that has thread wound on it immediately.

#1002 Check and rethread the upper thread.

Situation

When the upper thread is threaded incorrectly or when the upper thread is broken. Also, if you are using a mini cone thread spool, use the special thread spool cap.

#1003 The machine is sensing an operational issue.

Situation

The thread is tangled. The bobbin case is misaligned.

#1004 Check the needle plate cover.

The needle plate may not be installed properly.

 

Situation

The needle plate cover is not secured causing a sensor issue. The bobbin case could be misaligned causing the needle plate to shift.

#1005 Preventive maintenance is recommended.

Situation

Once this message appears, it is recommended to take your embroidery machine to an authorized Brother dealer, or the nearest Brother authorized service center for a regular maintenance check.

#1006 Trying Connecting…The connection with the machine has been lost.
 (Bluetooth cannot connect)

In addition to the above message (…[A]), the following cases exist when Bluetooth cannot conect.
The embroidery machine and mobile device are not connected on the "Machine Settings" screen.…[B]  

 

Situation

[A]: This message is displayed when the communication error has occurred with the embroidery machine being paired.

[B]: Embroidery machines that can be connected to Bluetooth are not displayed on the "Machine Settings" screen.

 

Please perform this check to look for factors that may prevent the connection between the embroidery machine and the mobile device used to operate the embroidery machine during Situation [A] or Situation [B] described above.
