Make a two-sided copy of an ID card.
You can copy both sides of an ID card onto a single page, keeping the card's original size.
Follow the steps below to use your Brother machine's 2 in 1 ID Copying feature:
- The machine's Paper Size must be set to Letter or A4.
- You can only make one color ID copy at a time.
- You cannot use the Watermark Copy, Book Copy, Sort, Duplex Copy, Thin Paper Copy, Ink Save Mode or Enlarge/Reduce with the 2in1 (ID) feature.
- Press Copy.
- Place your ID card face down on the upper-left corner of the flat scanner glass.
- Use the dial pad to enter the number of copies you want to make.
You can make up to 99 copies at once.
- Press the Left or Right arrow key to display Page Layout.
- Press Page Layout.
- Press the Left or Right arrow key to display 2in1 (ID). Press 2in1 (ID).
- Do one of the following:
- Press Black (Mono) Start on the Brother machine to make a black and white ID card.
- Press Color (Colour) Start on the Brother machine to make a color ID card.
The machine starts scanning the first page.
- Press Black (Mono) Start on the Brother machine to make a black and white ID card.
- After the machine has scanned one side, press Yes.
- Turn over the ID card.
- Do one of the following:
- Press Black (Mono) Start on the Brother machine to make a black and white ID card.
- Press Color (Colour) Start on the Brother machine to make a color ID card.
- Press Black (Mono) Start on the Brother machine to make a black and white ID card.
