The error message "Invalid format for short nick name" appears when printing a document. (Mac OS X 10.5 or greater)

If the printer driver is not installed correctly, this error occurs. You need to uninstall the printer drivers and reinstall them.

Step 1: Uninstall
Please click your OS to uninstall the drivers:

Mac OS X 10.5
Mac OS X 10.6 or greater



Step 2: Reinstall

After completing the uninstallation, click the link below to download and reinstall the latest printer drivers.

- Printer Drivers for "Mac OS X 10.5"

- Printer Drivers for "Mac OS X 10.6"

- Printer Drivers for "Mac OS X 10.7"

- Printer Drivers for "OS® X 10.8"
