When I click on the "Address Book" button in the FAX Sending dialog box, an error message is shown and I cannot open the Microsoft® Outlook Address Book.

If your Outlook address book is password protected, you must have Outlook running before using the Brother PC-FAX utility or clear the password protection.
Below are the instructions to clear the password protection in Outlook2000.

 

 

  1. Open the Windows Control Panel.

  2. Double click on Mail.

  3. Select Personal Folders in the Services tab and click on the Properties button.

     

  4. Enter the password and click on the Change Password button.

  5. Do not enter any password for New password or click on the Save this password in your password list box.

     

  6. Click on OK three times to close all the screens.
