The paper is curled

Print Quality Problem - Curled

Please follow the steps below to solve the problem:

Choose the Reduce Paper Curl mode in the printer driver when you do not use our recommended paper.

For Windows users / For Macintosh users

For Windows users:

NOTE: The steps and screens may differ depending on the operating system and application being used.

[PCL Printer Driver]

  1. Open Printing Preferences. Click here to see the details of how to open Printing Preferences.
     
  2. Click the Advanced tab and then Other Print Options.

  3. Choose Improve Print Output and click Reduce Paper Curl.

  4. Click OK to close the Other Print Options dialog.
  5. Click OK to close the Properties dialog.
  6. Click OK. The document will be printed.

[BR-Script3 Printer Driver]

  1. Open Printing Preferences. Click here to see the details of how to open Printing Preferences.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Choose Reduce Paper Curl for Improve Print Output and click OK.

For Macintosh users:

NOTE: The steps and screens may differ depending on the operating system being used.

[CUPS Printer Driver]

  1. Open the Print dialog. Click here to see the details of how to open the Print dialog.
  2. Choose Print Settings from the print options pop-up menu and click the Advanced triangle mark.
  3. Click Improve Print Output.
  4. Click the Reduce Paper Curl button.

  5. Click Print.

  1. Open the Print dialog. Click here to see the details of how to open the Print dialog.
  2. Choose Printer Features from the print options pop-up menu and then choose General 1 for Feature Sets.
  3. Choose Reduce Paper Curl for Improve Print Output.

  4. Click Print.
