"PRINTING" is frozen on the display of my Brother machine. 

If "PRINTING" is frozen on the display of your Brother machine, follow the instructions listed below:

  1. Unplug the Brother unit from the power outlet.
  2. Press and hold the Stop/Exit key. As you hold this key, plug the power cord back into the power outlet.
  3. Continue to hold the Stop/Exit key for 5 seconds. The display should return to the date and time.
  4. If the display does not return to the date and time, repeat steps 1 through 3.
