Coloured spots at 75 mm (3.0 in.) intervals or at 29 mm (1.1 in.) intervals

Colored Spots


Follow the steps applicable for your case to resolve the issue:

 

Case 1: Coloured spots at 75 mm (3.0 in.) intervals

  1. If the issue is not resolved after printing a few pages, the drum may have foreign material, such as glue from a label, stuck on the drum surface. Clean the drum unit.

  2. Install a new drum unit.

Case 2: Coloured spots at 29 mm (1.1 in.) intervals

Identify the colour causing the issue and install a new toner cartridge.

To identify the colour of the toner cartridge and replace toner cartridge, follow the steps below:

  2. Compare your printed document with the printed chart to identify the colour causing the issue.
  3. Replace the toner cartridge of the colour.
