How can I clear the "Out of Memory" message from my Brother machine's display?
The Out of Memory message will appear on the Brother machine's display when the machine's storage capacity has been exceeded. The amount of memory used depends on the amount or type of data on the documents being faxed, copied, or printed from a computer.
Memory is based on industry standard 5% coverage of an 8½ in. x 11 in. test document. If the document being scanned is more than 5% coverage, it will use more memory. Documents with graphics will also use more memory.
The Out of Memory message may also appear on the display when scanning faxes into memory, making multiple copies, or printing from a computer.
