Can I lock the printer control panel?
Yes.
When necessary, you can set a password to limit access to the menu.
This helps prevent items from being changed accidentally.
- Press the Menu button.
- Press the up/down arrow keys to select Maintenance and press set.
- Press the down arrow key and select Security followed by set
- Select Panel Set Protect and then select On using the down arrow key
- Press Set followed by Menu to return to the "Ready to print" status
