I want to change the paper tray and paper size settings. Do I change these things on the control panel, or in the driver?

The settings in the printer driver will override the settings on the control panel.
Follow the procedure below to choose the Paper Tray and Paper Size setting in the printer driver.


  1. Open the printer folder.
  2. Right click on the printer icon (i.e HL-1850/1970N series) and select Properties from the menu.
  3. Open the Basic tab.
  4. At the Paper Size section (1), you can select the paper size.
  5. At the Paper Source section (2), you can select the paper tray you want to feed the paper from.
