I'm using Windows 95/ 98/ 98SE/ Me/ 2000/ XP. How can I uninstall the drivers?

  1. Make a temporary folder on your HDD [hard disk drive] as the location to save the downloaded self-extracting file, e.g. C:\brodnt

  2. Please click here to download the Uninstall Tool to remove the drivers.

  3. Once downloading is completed, double click the downloaded file to extract it.

  4. A new icon will appear on your desktop named DelInf32.exe. This is the Uninstall Tool.

  5. Double click the DelInf32 icon and the "Brother MFC Uninstaller" will appear.

  1. Set your model and connection type (USB or Parallel) and click OK

  2. "Complete" will appear. Click OK.

  3. Restart the computer. The Brother Drivers have now been removed.

  4. Unplug the power cord of the Brother machine AND the USB or Parallel cable before starting re-installing the software.

If you are a Windows 95/98/2000 user, this procedure deletes both the USB driver and Parallel driver even though you selected only one.
