My printouts are faded.


Check the following points:

  • Is the paper damp and the media suitable.  Replace the paper
  • Check your printer driver settings are correct
  • The toner cartridge may be old or damaged replace the toner cartridge.
  • Is the printer driver Toner Save Mode active? In the printer driver deactivate the Toner Save Mode.
  • The power supply could be defective. If the problem continues contact your dealer or Brother Customer Service.
