How much storage space do recordings consume?

OmniJoin meeting recordings consume approximately 400 MB per hour at HD 720 and medium quality settings. In terms of capacity, that is approximately 2 hours of recording time per gigabyte of storage. See details below. At lower quality settings, one can record approximately 8 hours of content per gigabyte.

Your storage consumption will vary, it is highly dependent on screen content changes and your recording environment. Sharing desktops and applications with more frequent screen refreshes, additional video attendees, and other activities that result in more frequent screen changes will increase storage consumption, while recordings with fewer changes may decrease consumption.
