How do I turn off my Brother machine's Secure Function Lock feature?

To turn off your Brother machine's Secure Function Lock feature, follow these steps:

*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps of "For Touchscreen models" below.
  1. Press the MENU key.

  2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to choose Lock On → Off.

  3. Press the OK key.

  4. Enter your four-digit administrator password.

  5. Press the OK key.


<For Touchscreen models>
  1. Press image.

  2. Press Lock On → Off.

  3. Enter your four-digit administrator password by pressing the buttons on the Touchscreen.

  4. Press the OK key.
