How does a restricted user log on the Brother machine when Secure Function Lock is turned on?

Follow the steps listed below to log on as a restricted user when Secure Function Lock is turned on:

*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps of "For Touchscreen models" below.
  1. Hold down the Shift key as you press *

    OR

    Press Menu. Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Change User and then press OK.
  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose your user name.
  3. Press OK.
  4. Enter your four-digit password.
  5. Press OK.
<For Touchscreen models>
  1. Hold down Shift key as you press *.

    OR

    Press image or image (where xxxxx is the user's name). Then press Change User.

  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to display your user name.

  3. Press your user name.

  4. Enter your four-digit user password by pressing the buttons on the Touchscreen.

  5. Press OK.
