Printer Locked

Do one of the following to clear the message:


Turning Secure Function Lock off

*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps of "For Touchscreen models" below.

  1. Press Menu.

  2. Press the Up or Down Arrow key choose Lock On->Off and press OK.

  3. Enter your four-digit administrator password and press OK.


<FOR models Touchscreen>

  1. Press image.

  2. Press Lock On->Off.

  3. Enter your four-digit administrator password by pressing the buttons on the Touchscreen and press OK.

Make a careful note of the administrator password. If you enter the wrong password, the LCD will show Wrong Password. Enter the correct password. If you forget it, please contact Brother Customer Service from "Contact Us".
