What kind of memory can I use?


The HL-7050 and HL-7050N printer have 32 MB of standard memory (this may vary by country) and two slots for optional memory expansion (both slots will not be available if the printer is supplied with more than 32Mbytes of memory).

 

You can expand the memory up to 288 MB by installing dual in-line memory modules (DIMMs).

 

The following DIMM size can be installed:

In general, the DIMM that can be used with the HL-7050 and HL-7050N must have the following specifications:

 

 Type:  100 pin and 32 bit output
 CAS Latency:  2 or 3
 Clock frequency:  66 MHz or more
 Capacity:  16, 32, 64 MB or 128 MB
 Height:  46 mm (1.8 inches) or less
 Parity:  None
 DRAM Type:

 SDRAM 4 Bank
* SDRAM can be used.
