Printouts have toner specks.


Check the following points:

  • Make sure that you use paper that meets our specifications. Roughsurfaced paper may cause the problem.
  • The drum unit may be damaged. Put in a new drum unit. To see how to replace the drum unit, click here.
  • Use a Brother genuine toner cartridge which is specially formulated to ensure top print quality.
  • The fuser unit may be contaminated. Call Brother Customer Service.
