The printer prints Black Spots. What should I do?

In many cases if you select the 'CLEANING PAGE' option from the printer front panel, the black spots will disappear.

 

Follow the instructions listed below:


  1. Press the + or - keys until "INFORMATION" is displayed on the printer LCD. When you see "INFORMATION" press the SET key.
  2. Select "MAINTENANCE" and press the SET key.
  3. Select "CLEANING PAGE" and press the SET key.


If after performing this operation there are still black spots on the page, perform the "CLEANING PAGE" function again before contacting your Brother service representative.
