What is the maximum number of stitches that can be entered on an original card?

Stitch data is compressed to fit on the card.

Depending on the compression, the amount can change.

On the average, about 200,000 stitches can fit on one card.

However, the number of stitches in a pattern can vary depending on the type of machine.
