Adjusting the disc print position

For Mac OS X 10.6-10.7 users


Please update the "CUPS Printer Driver" and the "NewSoft CD Labeler software" to the latest version to solve the issue of print position misalignment on a 12 cm disc.

For Mac OS X 10.6 CUPS Printer Driver:
Click here to download and install the latest "CUPS Printer Driver".

For Mac OS X 10.7 CUPS Printer Driver:
Click here to download and install the latest "CUPS Printer Driver".

 

For NewSoft CD Labeler software:
Please visit the NewSoft website, the software manufacturer, at: http://nj.newsoft.com.tw/download/brother/cdlabeler.html to download and install the latest version.

If the printed image runs off the edges of the disc, follow these steps to correct it.

  1. Press Menu on the screen.

  2. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Initial Setup.

  3. Press Initial Setup.

  4. Press the UP OR DOWN ARROW key to display Disc Print Alignment.

  5. Press Disc Print Alignment.

  6. Press the UP, DOWN, LEFT, or RIGHT ARROW key to adjust the print position.

  7. Press OK.

    - You can only adjust the print position up to 2 mm in any direction.

    If the printed image still runs off the edges of the disc after you adjust the print position, you must reposition the original image within the frame on the LCD.

    Follow these steps:

    1. Press the image key.

    2. Go back to STEP3.
