How do I insert a symbol into my text?

  1. Turn the F dial until SYMBOL is displayed, and then press the F dial ( or Return key ).
    The message "A-J?" appears in the display.
     
  2. Turn the Fdial until the cursor is positioned under the desired symbol.
    OR
    Press the key for the letter of the group containing the symbol that you wish to add, and then press Left cursor key and Right cursor key until the cursor is positioned under the desired symbol.
     
  3. Press the Fdial ( or Return key ) to add the symbol to the text.
