How can I connect to my printer using Wi-Fi® in Windows 10 S?
Because the Printer Setting Tool is not supported by Windows 10 S, you must use a standard version of Windows (such as Windows 10 Home or Pro) to configure the printer's Wi-Fi settings before you connect to your printer.
Alternatively, you can upgrade your computer's operating system to Windows 10 Pro, and then use the Printer Setting Tool to connect.
After the printer's Wi-Fi settings have been configured, follow the steps below to install the printer driver:
Tap or click Start, type "control panel", and then press Enter to open [Control Panel].
Tap or click [Hardware and Sound] => [Devices and Printers].
Tap or click [Add a printer].
Tap or click [The printer that I want isn't listed].
Select "Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname" and tap or click [Next].
Enter the IP address of the Brother machine in the Hostname or IP address field, and select the "Query the printer and automatically select the driver to use" option. Then tap or click [Next].
Select [Brother] from the Manufacturer list.
Select [Brother MobilePrinter Type A2 Class Driver] from the Printer list, and tap or click [Next].
The printer driver name will be displayed in the Printer name field. We recommend typing your Brother printer's model name in the "Printer name" field for future reference. Tap or click [Next].
Tap or click [Finish].
