What do the indicator lights mean?
The indicators light and flash to indicate your printer's status.
The symbols used in this FAQ explain the meaning of the different indicator colors and patterns:

Initializing or shutting down |

Idle mode (Not connected via Bluetooth®) |
Bluetooth settings can be changed using the following method.

Check that the printer is on.

Press and hold the Power Button for approximately 10 seconds until the Power LED flashes in green.

Release the Power Button within 3 seconds after flashing starts.

Press the Power Button twice quickly to turn off the printer.

Turn on the printer again.

Recovery mode |
Transfer the program again.
If the problem still occurs, contact Brother Customer Service. |
(Once for 1 sec.) |
Battery not installed. |

Turn off the printer.

Insert or replace the battery.
-
Turn on the printer again.

No Tape Cassette installed.
-
Incorrect Tape Cassette installed.

Incompatible Tape Cassette installed.

Turn off the printer.

Insert the correct Tape Cassette.

Turn on the printer again.

Transmission error |

Turn off the printer and then turn it on again.

For mobile device:
Connect to the printer via Bluetooth.

For computer:
Disconnect the USB device and connect it again or change the USB port.

Turn off the printer and then turn it on again.

Charge the battery.

If the problem still occurs, replace the battery.

Turn off the printer and then turn it on again.
