FAQs & Troubleshooting

Customize the Home Screen for ease of use.

The machine's display (hereinafter called LCD) shows the following menus:

 

  1. Shortcut icons for frequently-used operations, such as sending a fax, copying and scanning.
  2. Eight Home tabs are available to switching Home Screen.
  3. Administrator's menu for customizing Home Screen

You can customize the Home Screen for ease of use.
Follow the steps below to customize the Home Screen:

 

Add Shortcuts for frequently-used operations and change the position freely

  1. Press Admin Settings(Admin Settings).
  2. Press Home Screen Settings.
    Press Home Screen Settings
  3. Press Icons.
    Press Icons
  4. Press the tab where you want to add a Shortcut, and then press + where you want to add a Shortcut.

  5. Select function.
  6. Press Modify the settings. (This step might be skipped in some functions, go to Step 11.)

    If you press Use default Settings, add Shortcut setting as same as factory default. Go to Step 11.

  7. Follow the on-screen instructions to configure frequently-used setting. Press Save as Shortcut.
  8. Confirm the settings are correct. Press OK.
  9. Enter a name for the Shortcut. Press OK.
  10. When the LCD asking if you want to use a One Touch Shortcut, follow the LCD instructions. Press OK.
  11. The new Shortcut icon will appear on the Home Screen.

  12. Press Home(Home).

 

Change the position of the Shortcut
  1. Press Admin Settings(Admin Settings).
  2. Press Home Screen Settings.

  3. Press Icons.
    Press Icons
  4. Press the tab where you want to move the Shortcut.

  5. Press the Shortcut you want to move. Press Left or Right to move position.

    Or press Replace and then press the destination Shortcut to exchange the position.

  6. Press Home(Home).

 

 

Delete Shortcuts

  1. Press Admin Settings(Admin Settings).
  2. Press Home Screen Settings.
    Press Home Screen Settings
  3. Press Icons.
    Press Icons
  4. If you want to delete all Shortcut, press Delete All and follow the on-screen instructions.

    If you want to delete certain Shortcut's, press the Shortcut you want to delete and then press Delete.

  5. The Shortcut will be deleted.
  6. Press Home(Home).

 

 

Rename the Home tabs and organize Shortcuts for each tab

  1. Press Admin Settings(Admin Settings).
  2. Press Home Screen Settings.
    Press Home Screen Settings
  3. Press Tabs.
    Press Tabs
  4. Press Rename.
  5. Press the tab where you want to rename.
  6. Enter a name for the tab. Press OK.
  7. Press Home(Home).
    You can create a shortcut icon for each tab.

Change the background color of the Home Screen

  1. Press Admin Settings(Admin Settings).
  2. Press Home Screen Settings.
  3. Press Background Color.
  4. Select the base color of the Home Screen.
  5. Press Home(Home).
