Reset the network settings to the factory default (video instructions available)
You can reset the network settings back to its default factory settings (resetting all information such as the password and IP address information) using the control panel as follows. Please note this function resets all wired and wireless network settings to the factory default.
NOTE: Videos shown below are from a representative product and may differ from your Brother machine.
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.

Make sure the machine is not operating, then disconnect all the cables from the machine (except the power cord).

Press Menu. Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Network, and then press OK.

Press the Up or Down arrow key to choose Network Reset, and then press OK.
Press 1 to choose Reset, and press 1 to choose Yes for reboot.

The machine will re-start. Re-connect all the cables.

Follow the steps below to reset the settings:
- Press MENU on the LCD screen.
- Press Network.
- Press the Up or Down arrow key to display Network Reset and then press Network Reset.
- Press Yes.
- Press Yes for 2 seconds to confirm.

The machine will re-start. Re-connect all the cables.
