Join an online meeting (version 6.x.xx.xxx or earlier)
Please follow the steps below to join an online meeting:
- You do NOT need an OmniJoin account to click into a meeting. Only the meeting host has to have an OmniJoin account.
- We recommend that you use the wired Internet connection.
From Email Invitation or Meeting URL Host Sent You
From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM (if applicable)
From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM via Invitation
From Email Invitation or Meeting URL Host Sent You
- Click the meeting URL or copy and paste that into web browser.

The launcher page will appear and you can join the meeting. In some web browsers you will be required to install add-in.

For Internet Explorer® 7.0 or later running on Windows XP
If you have already installed Active X loader, you will join a meeting automatically. If not, you will be prompted to install it from Internet Explorer information bar. -
For Internet Explorer® 7.0 or later running on Windows 7
Click Launch OmniJoin and follow the prompts to download the executable file.

Click Run when this prompt appears.

Click Yes when this prompt appears.
(This prompt may not appear according to your computer setting.)

Confirm the description and click Accept.

Click Run when this prompt appears.

For Google Chrome™
Click Launch OmniJoin and follow the prompts to download the add-in.-
Click Launch OmniJoin.

Click Add.

Click Yes if this prompt appears.

Confirm and, if you agree, click Accept.

Click Launch OmniJoin.

For Mozilla Firefox
If you are required to download plug-in, follow the prompts.-
Click Launch OmniJoin.

Click Allow when this prompt appears.

Click Install Now when this prompt appears.

Click Restart Now when this prompt appears.

Click Yes when this prompt appears.

Confirm the description and click Accept.
If you have problem launching OmniJoin following these steps, please check the following FAQ.
"I cannot enter the meeting room by clicking "Launch OmniJoin" button on the browser."

Click Launch OmniJoin.

For Internet Explorer® 7.0 or later running on Windows XP
From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM (if applicable)
- Open Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM.
- Select the Meeting tab.

Enter the Meeting ID and password (if meeting is password-protected) in the Join an Existing Meeting.
Please contact the meeting host for the meeting ID and password.

Click Join Now.
From Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM via Invitation
You receive invitaions while you are in the Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM.

If the meeting host sends an invitation using Live Contact List/ OmniJoin IM, invitation popup balloon will be appeared in the right corner of your active screen. Please click Accept in that popup balloon.

You can also join the meeting by double-clicking the invitation in Meeting Invitation in the Meeting tab and click OK.
