How to identify the printer's firmware version
The version number and other information for the firmware can be confirmed by the following steps.

Connect your computer to the printer using a USB cable and turn the printer on.

Start P-touch Editor and select [Software Information Scan] from the [Help] menu.
You can download P-touch Editor from the [Downloads] section of this website.

Click [Retrieve Information].

Select the printer from [Printer status] in [Item Name:], and then check [ProgVer] for the firmware version.
