The error message "The P-touch is being used" is displayed when printing to the QL-500/550. What can I do? (QL-500/550)
This error occurs when trying to print with PS-9000.
To print with the QL-500/550 using the PS-9000, you need to use P-touch Editor Ver.4.1.100. or later.
Verify your P-touch Editor version from the P-touch Editor [HELP] – [About...] menu.
[For P-touch Editor Ver. 4.1. 001]
If you are using P-touch Editor V4.1.001, this version is not compatible with printing from the PS9000.
Download and update to the latest version from the Brother support website.

If you are using the correct version,
Check to see if other users are printing, If other users are printing, this message may appear.

Wait to the other print job is complete and then click the [RESUME] button on the print monitor display.
If another user's print job was stopped due to to a print error, this message may also appear.
- Turn the power off on the QL-500/550 to cancel the print job and click the [RESUME] button on the print monitor display.
