The needle strikes the presser foot

  • Be sure to use the straight stitch needle plate when the straight stitch foot is attached on the machine.
     
  • When using free-motion quilting foot C ,
    be sure to select one of the patterns with a center needle position ( 1-031-03, 1-041-04 or 1-311-31).
    Using any other stitch may result in the needle striking the quilting foot, causing damage or injuries.
