Enable the Brother machine's network interface.
- For certain models, the wireless network connection can be used only when the optional Wireless Module is installed.
- A wired and a wireless network connection cannot be used at the same time. Enable the network connection type you want to use and then disable the other.
Follow the steps below to enable or disable the Brother machine's network interface (wired or wireless LAN).

Press (Settings) > All Settings > Network.
If your machine displays the All Settings menu on the Home screen, skip the Settings menu.
- Press the Up or Down arrow to display Wired LAN or WLAN (Wi-Fi).
- Press Wired LAN or WLAN (Wi-Fi).
- Press the Up or Down arrow to display Wired Enable or WLAN Enable.
- Press Wired Enable or WLAN Enable.

Do one of the following:
- To enable, select On.
- To disable, select Off.
- Press (Home).
(For wireless network users)
If a network cable is connected to your machine, disconnect it.
