Que signifient les témoins lumineux?

Les voyants s'allument et clignotent pour indiquer l'état de l'imprimante. Les symboles suivants sont utilisés dans cette FAQ pour expliquer la signification des différentes couleurs et motifs des indicateurs.

L'imprimante n'est pas alimentée. If you are using AC or DC power, make sure that the AC adapter or DC cable is properly connected (See "Comment se connecter à une prise secteur (en Option)ou leComment se connecter à une prise secteur (en Option)".) and make sure that the AC or DC power outlet is turned on. Si vous utilisez l'alimentation CC, vérifiez le fusible.

The printer did not detect a rechargeable Ni-MH battery when you tried to charge the battery.
Assurez-vous que la batterie a été installée et connectée correctement et qu'il n'y a pas de fils cassés sur la batterie ou le connecteur. ConsultezComment instaler la batteire (en option)".)

 

If the rechargeable Ni-MH battery is connected properly, the battery may have overheated while charging. Allow the rechargeable Ni-MH battery to cool before charging it again. If this is a reoccurring problem, replace the rechargeable Ni-MH battery.

Replace the rechargeable Ni-MH battery.

Tête :
Si la tête thermique devient encore plus chaude, elle peut produire des images sur le papier dans des zones non destinées à être imprimées. Cette condition est normale lors de l'impression de documents avec beaucoup de contenu "noir". L'imprimante s'arrête et reprend l'impression une fois que la tête d'impression est refroidie. Pour éviter ou retarder l'apparition de cette condition, imprimez en utilisant un paramètre de densité plus léger, réduisez la quantité d'espace noir à imprimer.
(par exemple, enlevez les ombres et les couleurs de fond des graphiques et des documents de présentation), et assurez-vous que l'imprimante a une ventilation adéquate et n'est pas située dans un espace clos. Si l'imprimante est utilisée en continu, le moteur devient trop chaud. Dans ce cas, l'imprimante s'arrête et reprend l'impression après refroidissement du moteur.

Cette situation peut se produire plus souvent lorsque l'imprimante est utilisée à haute altitude (plus de 10 000 pieds) en raison d'une densité d'air inférieure disponible pour refroidir l'imprimante.

Data is not being received properly, most likely because of a poor IrDA connection. Reposition the printer and/or IrDA port on the computer and try again.

L'adaptateur secteur a été débranché pendant la mise à jour du microprogramme et l'imprimante a démarré en mode de démarrage la prochaine fois qu'elle a été lancée. Communiquez avec votre revendeur ou le Service à la clientèle de Brother pour obtenir de l'aide.
