"E3" message appears on the LCD.
Cause
This message is displayed when an erroneous operation is performed as follows.

The Start/Stop button is pressed while the buttonhole or bar tack stitch is selected and the buttonhole lever is raised.

The Reverse/Reinforcement stitch button is pressed while the buttonhole or bar tack stitch is selected and the buttonhole lever is raised.

The foot controller is pressed while the buttonhole or bar tack stitch is selected and the buttonhole lever is raised.
Solution
Lower the buttonhole lever before continuing the operation.
