The printer feeds more tape than required. (P-touch Design&Print 2)

If you are printing a single label

Set the [Tape length] in P-touch Design&Print 2 to at least 0.98 in. / 25 mm, which is the printer's minimum print length for a single label.

Make sure the displayed label content fits within the printable area (the dotted-line rectangle).

If the displayed label content exceeds the currently set tape length, the label may be cut in the middle.

 

If you are printing multiple labels

Make sure the total length of your labels exceeds the printer's minimum print length of 0.98 in. / 25 mm.

You can reduce tape margins for the second and subsequent labels by the steps below.

  1. Edit the label in the label edit screen.
  2. Tap the [Print] button and then tap the [Cut Options] button.
  3. Turn off the [Cut the last label] option and the [Auto Cut] option.
