Duplex Copy (1-sided to 2-sided)

Your Brother machine does not support Automatic 2-Sided(Duplex) Copying (the machine automatically copies on both sides of a sheet of paper). However you can manually make copies on both sides of a page.

To manually 2-sided(duplex) documents, follow the instructions below:
  1. (For Brother machines with FAX function)
Press the COPY key to illuminate it.

  2. Place your document face up in the ADF (automatic document feeder) or face down on the scanner glass.

  3. Press the START key.

  4. When the copy has completed printing, remove the copied document and load it in the paper tray, printed side UP.

  5. Do one of the following:

    • If you are copying a two sided document, turn the document over in the ADF or on the scanner glass.

    • If you are copying a second document, remove the original document and place the second document face up in the ADF or face down on the scanner glass.

  6. Press the START key.
