FAQs & Troubleshooting

I cannot print labels when the Active Docking Station / Charging Cradle is connected.

If you cannot print labels while connected to the printer or Active Docking Station / Charging Cradle (PA-CR-002) via USB, for example during battery charging, an incorrect printer may be selected in your operating system.
Do the following:

Before you proceed, make sure that:
  • The printer is turned on.
  • The printer is connected to the computer via USB.
  • The Active Docking Station / Charging Cradle is NOT connected to the computer via USB.

  1. Open the Devices and Printers window.
For more information, see "How to open the Devices and Printers window"

  2. Change your view to [Tiles].

  3. The printer and the Active Docking Station / Charging Cradle are recognized as two different USB-connected devices.
Make sure the printer connected to your computer is selected (its icon becomes highlighted), and then try to print again.
