Cancel a fax job waiting in my Brother machine's memory.

Please follow the steps below to cancel a fax job in your Brother machine's memory that is waiting to be sent.
*If your Brother machine has a touchscreen, please follow the steps under "For touchscreen models" below.

 

  1. Press Menu and choose Fax => Remaining jobs.

     

    • The Brother machine's LCD will display the number of jobs waiting to be sent.
       
    • If there are no jobs in memory, the Brother machine's LCD will read No Jobs Waiting.
  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to scroll through the waiting jobs.
     
  3. Press OK to choose the job you want to cancel.
     
  4. Do one of the following:

     

    • Press 1 to cancel the job.
       
    • Press 2 to exit without canceling.
  5. Press Stop/Exit.
     

<For touchscreen models>

  1. Press Menu and choose Fax => Remaining Jobs.

     

    • The Brother machine's LCD will display the number of jobs waiting to be sent.
       
    • If there are no jobs in memory, the Brother machine's LCD will read No Jobs Waiting.
  2. Press the Up or Down arrow key to scroll through the waiting jobs.
     
  3. Press OK to choose the job you want to cancel.
     
  4. Do one of the following:

     

    • Press Yes to cancel the job.
       
    • Press No to exit without canceling.
  5. Press Stop/Exit.
