"The "Start/Stop" button does not operate with the foot controller attached. Remove the foot controller." message appears on the LCD. What does it mean?

 

This message is displayed when the “Start/Stop” button is pressed to sew Utility stitches or Character/Decorative stitches while the foot controller is connected.
