The scanning speed is slow when scanning from my machine. (Windows)
To improve the scanning speed when scanning from your machine, check the following points:
Verify that your machine has been added to Brother iPrint&Scan.
To add your machine to Brother iPrint&Scan, follow the steps below.

Download and install the Full Driver & Software Package (if not already installed).

Download and install the Brother iPrint&Scan (if not already installed).

- When the installation is complete, double-click the Brother iPrint&Scan icon.
- If your Brother machine is not listed, click the Select your Machine button, and then select your machine from the list of available machines.
- Click the Machine Scan Settings button to configure the scan settings.
- Place your document in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or on the scanner glass.
- Press the Scan button on the machine.
Check the scan resolution.
The resolution may be too high for your document.
To change the resolution, follow the steps below.
- Double-click the Brother iPrint&Scan icon.
- Click the Machine Scan Settings button.
- Select lower resolution from the Resolution drop-down list.
- Click OK.
- Place your document in the Automatic Document Feeder (ADF) or on the scanner glass.
- Press the Scan button on the machine.
Check the USB cable you are using.
Make sure you use a USB 3.0 cable.
