Change color mode settings within the driver.
'Document Types' option.
Use this option to select the required document type from the list. A short on-line description of the currently selected document type will be given in the Tips box at the bottom left corner of the Graphics dialog box.
Mode | Description |
Normal |
Prints at 600 x 600 dpi. Suitable for documents of normal quality |
High Quality |
Prints at 600 x 600 dpi. Suitable for documents of high image quality |
Super Fine |
Prints at 1200 x 1200 dpi. Suitable for documents that consists of fine lines |
Normal (Match Monitor) |
Prints at 600 x 600 dpi. Select this if you feels that the Normal output color is not your expected |
Transparencies |
Suitable for printing transparencies. Performs appropriate adjustment for overhead projection |
Toner Save |
Reduces the amount of toner used printing each page |
Presentation |
Suitable for presentation documents of vivid color |
ICM |
Print images by performing Image Color Management functions of Windows |
Normal (High Gloss) |
Adds a glossy finish to Plain or Bond Paper by Normal Quality |
High Quality (High Gloss) |
Adds a glossy finish to Plain or Bond Paper by High Quality |
When the "Display All Document Types" option is checked, only Normal (Match Monitor), Transparencies, Toner Save, Presentation, ICM, Normal (High Gloss), High Quality (High Gloss) will be available. The availability of various parameters in the list depends on the currently selected Output Color. ICM will be available on WindowsR 98/WindowsR Millennium Edition/ WindowsR 2000/ XP.
