Important Notes before Updating

     
    • It is not possible to update the firmware unless the following conditions are met on your machine.
      • The machine is not scanning a document.
      • The machine is not in the Settings Menu.
      • There's no error message on LCD panel.
      • The machine is not receiving or processing the data.
      • Scanner Driver must be installed on your computer.
      • Make sure that there is no data left in the machine memory when running the firmware update tool.

How to Install

Notes:

  • In order to update the firmware, the driver needs to be installed. If you have not installed the driver, please install it.
  1. Make a temporary folder on your HDD [hard disk drive] as the location to save the downloaded self-extracting file, e.g. C:\brodnt
  2. Download the file to the temporary folder.
    Once downloaded, double click on the downloaded file to extract it.
  3. Click "Search for Network Devices".(If you are connected with a USB cable, the USB check box will appear on the list.)
  4. Select your device from the "Destination" list.
  5. Click "Start Update".
