Important Notes before Updating

- It is not possible to update the firmware unless the following conditions are met on your machine.
- The machine is not scanning a document.
- The machine is not receiving or processing the data. (Make sure the Data LED is off or not blinking)
- Scanner Driver must be installed on your computer.
- Make sure that there is no data left in the machine memory when running the firmware update tool.
How to Install
Notes:
- In order to update the firmware, the driver needs to be installed. If you have not installed the driver, please install it.
- Make a temporary folder on your HDD [hard disk drive] as the location to save the downloaded self-extracting file, e.g. C:\brodnt

Download the file to the temporary folder.
Once downloaded, double click on the downloaded file to extract it. - Click "Search for Network Devices".(If you are connected with a USB cable, the USB check box will appear on the list.)
- Select your device from the "Destination" list.
- Click "Start Update".
