    • 펌웨어를 업데이트할 기기가 사용 중이 아닌지 확인하십시오. 또한 펌웨어 업데이트 도구를 실행할 때 기기 메모리에 남아 있는 데이터가 없는지 확인하십시오.
     
    • 컴퓨터에서 다음을 확인하십시오.
      • 프린터 속성을 열고 테스트 페이지를 인쇄하여 프린터가 올바르게 작동하고 있는지 확인하십시오.
      • 모든 응용 프로그램과 TSR을 종료하십시오.
      • Windows XP SP2 방화벽 또는 다른 방화벽 소프트웨어를 사용하는 중이면 비활성화 하십시오.
     
    • 기기에서 다음 조건을 충족하지 않으면 펌웨어를 업데이트할 수 없습니다.
      • 기기가 데이터를 수신 또는 처리하지 않습니다. (데이터 LED가 꺼져 있거나 깜박이지 않는지 확인하십시오.)
      • 기기가 문서를 인쇄하지 않습니다.
      • Macintosh 컴퓨터를 사용하는 경우, 프린터 드라이버 또는 CUPS 프린터 드라이버가 설치되어 있어야합니다.
