I replaced my ink cartridge, but the LCD is still displaying "Ink Empty". 

Please follow the instructions below:

 


  1. Open the Scanner Cover by lifting from the right-hand side of the MFC/DCP until it locks securely into the open position.
  1. Pull the ink cartridge hook toward you and remove the ink cartridge for the colour shown on the LCD. Reinstall the ink cartridge and press down on the ink cartridge until the hook snaps over it securely.
  1. After installing the ink cartridges, lift the scanner cover to release the lock, Gently push the scanner cover support down and close the scanner cover.
  1. The LCD may then display:
    Did you change Blck? 1.Yes 2.No.
    The LCD may display this question for the colour(s) that was replaced.

If "1 Yes" is NOT selected for the colour(s) that was replaced, the LCD will return to "Ink Empty". 

  1. After all the correct selections are made, the machine will then start cleaning. Once this is complete, the LCD will return to date and time.
